| The University Of Texas at Dallas is offering a four-year, full tuition and fees scholarship to the winner of the High School Championship section. The value of this scholarship is at least $16,000 to Texas residents and $30,000 to non-residents. Recipient must meet UTD entrance requirements. |
Open to Texas residents or players going to school in Texas. TCA membership required.
New for 2001 - One day Kindergarten section.
Note that the Kindergarten player can enter the Primary Section after the Kindergarten section is
over.
JV sections are the same as last year (rating wise). All 7 rounds. Accelerated Pairings may be used.
Rounds times to be announced.
Trophies: At least the top 25 individual and top
20 teams in each section, except for the Kindergarten section where each participant will
get a trophy. Medals to players with plus scores who do not get a trophy.
